Firebirds 7-40 Norwich Medics 8-Oct-2022
In their second outing of the season the Firebirds had to again rely on generous support from players at Lakeham Hewett, Great Yarmouth-Broadland and Norwich, who joined a handful of Union players to form a barbarians style team.
Despite spending much of the game in the opposition half, the Firebirds were only able to secure a single score being awarded a penalty try. The visitors were held back by some great defensive play but were ultimately able to break from all areas of the field and scoring six tries of their own and missing only one conversion to amas a score of 40.
